the last week before we are done!

Well this is our last week before we are done with our classes! this is so exiting but at the same time kind of sad because i cant belive senior year is going that fast. Overall in order for me to finish all of my classes this is what i have to do, for krisitas class i have to finish the project that my partners and i have been doing for the past week or so and also do the presentation of the project. And then for stephanies class i have to prepare for the presentation and do well on it, and then for math is basically just a final and done, oh also we are taking some sort of test that we took in the begging of the year i guess to see how much we have gained over time, which is good but at the same time nerve racking. Overall it is all coming into a end very rapidly i have to admit. This year has felt nothing nut a race, either you stay on track or you will spin out so far i have managed to stay on and i plan to stay that way. Then we have president Obama's desicion on weather he will come to our school or not, which i really cant wait for! and also camp. Many fun things are coming up but i just have to make sure that i finish everything right so that way i can enjoy everything.

week 24-29th

Well this week was actually crazy but weird at the same time because i went to mesa community college to take an entrace exam and as i was walking in the campus reality slapped me in the face, because i cant really imagine myself going to any other school but HTHI! but im sure it will take time to get used to but i will manage it im sure! Iwent to mesa on monday but my anxiety fears over took me and so i decided to wait and take it on thursday which i did and i am very proud of myself for taking the iniciative to do that. I also signed up for the FYE program which is a special type of program that will help me get through my first year in college. And as far as school goes these are the main things that have to be done before i leave off to endersession, for math the final of course, for environmental science our group project which is going to be a surprise i wont tell you guys yet what we are going to do haha ;p, and for english we have to finish our inquiry project which is turning out great so far i just have to finish my book by sunday! which i know i will be able to finish. Overall senior year is coming to an end which i dont know why im going to miss it dearly!

Friday the 22end

Well this week was a crazy but fast week as well. We got our mid-terms back and i did my quiz corrections so that way my grade can go up. I need to get all of my college things together ASAP! stephanie my awasome advisor/teacher has helped me alot!!! and well she always inspires me to go for it and do it. Well me and my partner for my inquiry project are doing well so far in our project we just have one more interview left and a few other things in the checklist to do. Such as taking notes for our book, we decided to take our notes in a retell respond and relate format that way it can be much more easier for us. So thats the inquiry project we also have the multi-media project sebet and lendale have been recording songs i believe so far we have liike 5 songs. And then for environmental science which is kristas class i am partnered with andrew and we have been working on our group essay that is going to be due pretty soon. Also our individual essay was due yesterday but other than that i got to keeo my head up and do everything i got to do and move on. ;)

back from spring break

well this week went by soo fast i couldnt even believe it. Despite the fact that i was sick wensday and thursday i still managed to come back on friday and finish my test on the science and do the play for english class. im exited about school right now especially the way that its flowing all fast. I really hope that for endersession i can do somthing that involves psychology because i dont want to get placed in a class that i really dont want to do. However i havent recieved any feedback yet which is stressing i am exited because i called mesa sharp hospital and i am praying that i can go to that place to intern because that is what they specialize in. Although if i dont get to intern their well i guess i will just have to make the best of it and do it. Right now it is definatly a crazy moment in my life i have a lot of things and options to think about that has to do with my life, for example if i want to go straight to a 4 year university or if i want to go to a 2 year first and then transfer. I had the greatest talk with mellisa my dean on friday it was not only inspiring but it made my friday feel like a friday i felt good. She should think about being a psychologist her-self because she definatly helps me with good advice.

spring break

well this is our last week! we are off to spring break this is soo crazy i cant believe this year is going by soo fast. Many of us didnt show up to school today because there just wasnt much to do. We took our midterm on wensday and then we had a field trip on thursday and that left friday of with nothing to do. Hopefully mellisa doesnt decide to cancell our senior ditch day because so many seniors decided to not come to school today. However i do understand mellisa why she is soo pissed off at us. What sucks more is that i have to go to work today intill 1 a.m. wow!! and other than that i am going to be enjoying my spring break and hopefully get my group to work on the twelve night project because i just found out that we dont have school on the monday we come back. Also we have a reading to do for kristas class but that shouldnt be that bad. And also for math i have to get my Aleks done and get my pie chart off the roof! im also exited for my road trip that i will be doing i hope that i can get to meet new places hopefully it will be a great experience much love

week 10

This week started off kind of slow and stressing because the math midterm is already next week! Other than that this week ended pretty chill and relaxed. Friday is “senior privilege” day and it’s pretty cool we don’t have to dress up in dress code and get out to lunch earlier. This weekend is going to be busy because I am going to study as soon as I get off of work and I hope I can get in more hours on aleks , because I am kind of falling behind on that program. The reason why I’m falling behind on aleks is because I find it nearly impossible to study for the math midterm, apply for scholarships and work on the program at the same time. I need to defiantly build up my time managing skills and hopefully once I figure something out my grades will go up and I might even feel less stressed out and do better in everything. Also for our multimedia project production video we finally finished our video and we are done with that project the only thing left is to upload it online. Overall my key to success is to remind myself that everything will be alright, as long as I put my mind to it.

28th-4th

So this week we did many things. So far we are almost done in our work for multimedia i think the video is turning out good we have interviewed some local farmers such as suzies farm and the organic food in hillcrest. So far in this project we have learned many things, so far i know i have learned that most of the local organic farms here in san diego dont put any preservatives in the food which is a really good thing! and that way we know that our food is naturally grown and fresh. And so far for my book "mistakes were made but not by me" is a powerfull book, it talks about how people are and how people react to things such as the year 2000 and how many people and dr's were making assumptions stating that the world was going to end and that other things were going to happen, many people that belived it gave away thir houses and many other special things in life. Overall it talks about how people make mistakes and how they dont admit to them and blame other people/reasons for it instead of them. I know im not a dr or a so called psychologist yet but i so far am more and more curious to find out more about people, i cant wait to help them out but i first have to learn how to study them. Also the math midterm is coming up already and i am most definatly going to study my butt off this week with no slacking off.

week of 14-18

This week we covered a play in our english class. And basically it was preety much tough to read of course we basically had to read this article over and over again. At the end i kind of got it i think what got me to understand it more is that we got to play and i of course got to play since im cool like that and it made me focus more and understand it. In science we watched a few movies this week which was great and also learned a little bit more about food waste and things like that, well basically gave me a better image of what i thought was food waste. This friday we had to turn in kristas annotated bibliography and i have to admit it ended up being tougher than i thought but overall it was great. I got everything done well mostly everything done that i needed ot get done this week my main goal for me for next week is for me to turn in all my homework for calculus and not stay behind in it.

chill week

This week was probably one of the most relaxing weeks that we have ever hadso far this year. We had two field trips this week the first one was on tuesday and we went to balboa park to see the play "emma" which was held in the old globe theatre, According to a a employee that went to our school the old globe theatre is in the top 10 theatres in the whole country. Which is great to have one here in san diego. The play was from i belive 9 am till 1 o clock. It was a great experience for me to go to this play, it was just relaxing to sit down and enjoy the show. There were a few other schools that went well only seniors went i believe but overall it was a good experience. And i dont know why but the play somehow reminded me of romeo and juliet. The second field trip of the week was also fun, we went with doug and krista to the muesum of contemporary art in downtown san diego and also to a farm produce center in city college, downtown as-well. Overall this week was fun and relaxing i think we all needed a week like this so it was great. Next week we will go back and take charge!

1st week of febeurary

this week we also had our checklist to do for our inquiry project. Bresyda and i succesfully finished our inquiry project this week. And yes!! i fianlly got my book now so i can read it this weekend and get caught up with that. I also took my math mid term today and it was pretty tough, but i got it over with. Now i just have to worry about getting my homework done and turning it in on monday. This week fewww it was soo tough for me i was really really sick in the begginging of this week and i really dont know how i did it to over come this week and actually get work done, i swear i have never felt this sick in my life. I had a high fever throughout the long weekend that we had last weekend. I really do have to thank god because i really did pray alot this week so i can get over this week and do good. Now i have to work this weekend and cant wait till next weekend its going to be more chill and relaxing because we will be having two field trips one on tuesday and one on thursday. Sciece class went great because i eneded up getting a pretty good grade on my test for science i eneded up getting a B on it so im happy with what i got. I am hoping that my grades are doing well as of now and i have to meet with will and talk to him about my previous math test grade. Other than that i will read and keep it going.

week of 24-28

This week we had to turn in our inquiry project proposal and my partner and i did a pretty good job we introduced our project well and we stated everything that we wanted to say. I am worried though for our upcoming midterm because it reallly just feels like we barely came back from winter break. It all seems like its flowing way too fast for me and just to think that schools is going to end sooner for us seniors since we have enders session seems crazy! so this means that school will go by even faster. The only thing that i dont want to do is feel over stressed because this is my last year of high school so i want to take it easy, also i really have to concentrate on dougs project because it is pretty challenging, what we basically have to do is mix 2 songs together like if threre a remix and make it sound good. Its like if were dj's hahaha "right". Overall im exited to get my books aswell hopefully stephanie already ordered my books so that way i can start reading and yeah.

week of 17-21

second week after winter break!

Well so far soo good im back into my second week of school from break and im starting as a fresh start. I have to admit it is scaring thinking that this is my final semester of high school begore im off to university! its cool but at the same time sad. So in order for me to feel accomplished for when i look back and look at my senior year i have set out goals for myself once again. I do not want to let myself drop low again as far as my social life and grades!!! and i am exited for science class and also for stephanies inquiry project i will hopefully join up with briseyda since we both are interested in majoring in psychology. And our goal is to find a internship that will let us have a hands on experience and basically get the feel of what psychologit's do in their everyday job. Also i will try my hardest and try to give my best quality work in every individual class it will take time and hard work but i know i am capable of achieving this goal once again. I dont understand what seniorites is who knows maybe ive already gone through it without me even knowing, i hope i dont jynx myself and go through it, knock on wood, Overall im exited and standing up once again ready fr the battle of this second senio year semester.
